One of South Florida’s most successful softball coaches will once again bring his championship experience to local players as Coral Springs Charter’s Mark Montimurro hosts the Champions Softball Camp this summer at Cypress Park.
The camp will be held at Cypress Park and is open to players ages 10-16. Two three-day sessions are being offered, with the first running from July 6-8 and the second from July 13-15. Each session will take place from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $125 per player.
The camp will focus on hitting, fielding, and agility, with instruction from one of the most successful high school softball programs in the state.
Montimurro has guided Coral Springs Charter to eight FHSAA State Championships and helped establish the Panthers as one of Florida’s premier softball programs. The camp provides young players with an opportunity to develop their skills while learning the techniques and mindset that have contributed to the team’s success.
Registration is available by calling or texting the contact information listed on the camp flyer. Sessions will be held at Cypress Park from 9 a.m. to noon, with each three-day session costing $125 per player.
