North Springs Little League 50/70 Teams Win District Championship. {Courtesy}
North Springs Little League continued its outstanding summer by capturing three more District Championships, highlighted by titles from the 11U and 13U teams and the 14U team.
The 11U team defeated Parkland Little League in the championship game to claim its district title. The 13U ((Intermediate 50/70) squad also topped Parkland to earn a championship, while the 14U (Juniors) team beat Fort Lauderdale.
The 10U and 12U teams also turned in strong performances during district competition. The 10U squad was eliminated by Fort Lauderdale, while the 12U team fell to Coconut Creek. The seniors also lost in the championship Game against Deerfield Beach.
Next, the 14U team will play in Sectionals on Saturday, June 27th at 10 a.m. at North Community Park. The 13U team will play at 10 a.m. in Cutler Bay, while the 11U team will begin Sectionals on July 18.
