Don’t Miss the Coral Springs Jazz Brunch and Farmers’ Market This Weekend

Spend your morning shopping at the Coral Springs Farmers’ Market while listening to some lively jazz music because the “Savor the Notes” event is back at a new location.

This Sunday, residents can enjoy live music, have a mimosa, and eat delicious brunch items from local restaurants and farmers’ market vendors at the new city hall location.

“The Coral Springs Farmer’s Market is very excited about the last market of the season because it’s our Jazz Brunch and the official move of the market to the new city hall location,” said Market Manager Colleen Sullivan. “This will enable us to expand and grow the market over the next couple of years.”

Bring your yoga mat and start off the morning with a free yoga class on the city hall lawn. Music will begin at 10 a.m. with award-winning pianist/vocalist Kevin Laurence, whose internet popularity recently landed him a guest appearance on VH1’s “Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party,” and Eric & The Jazzers, a swing/bebop quartet, will get your toes tapping. The band was inspired by Max Roach, Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie, and others.

Residents will have the opportunity to purchase food and beverages from local restaurants including The Cook & The Cork and mimosas will be available for $5 with proceeds going toward the Coral Springs Museum of Art.

The fun begins Sunday, April 29th, 2018 from 9am – 2pm. Lawn chairs and blankets are encouraged and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

“Our goal is to continue to expand and provide artisanal gourmet food products to the residents of Coral Springs,” said Sullivan. “We can’t wait to see everyone out at the new location.”

City Hall is located at 9500 West Sample Road, just west of University Drive in Downtown Coral Springs. Plenty of free public parking will be available in the City Hall parking garage.
