Visitors to the City of Coral Springs website will notice an entirely new look that not only to provides an aesthetically, more professional appeal, it’s also meant to transform the paper-based and in-person processes into digital experiences.
During Covid-19, business owners and residents don’t want face-to-face contact, accelerating the city’s need to provide online access to the simplest of tasks.
“This project is not a redesign of our website; it is a transformation in the way our city does business, making it easier for residents to access services,” said Lynne Martzall, Director of Communications and Marketing.
Also, the city is committed to ensuring ADA compliance while reducing unnecessary and repetitive information. Residents and businesses can expect to have more convenient submission capabilities, quicker turnaround times for request approvals and fulfillments, and convenient access to information regarding city programs, services, departments, events, and more.
In partnership with website developer Open Cities, the digital transformation improves processes for many of their city services. It allows residents to conveniently access city hall, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, virtually.
“Investing in innovative tools, which provide our residents and businesses with easier access to city services, is a priority, said Mayor Scott Brook. “The launch of this new, user-friendly website is a testament to the dedication of city staff to improve service, engagement, and communication.”
