Charinus Johnson-Davis

The Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce has hired Charinus Johnson-Davis as their new executive vice president.
In her role, Charinus will spearhead the chamber’s fundraising events and utilize her extensive experience in grant writing to assist the Chamber in focusing on its strategic initiatives, including diversity, equity, inclusion, and workforce development.
“We are thrilled to have Charinus joining our team— she brings creative ideas and thoughtful initiatives to the forefront to assist our team in taking our Chamber to the next level,” says Cindy Brief, President/CEO of the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber. “She will lead the Chamber in securing its position in the forefront of the business community-at-large in North Broward.”
With a career in the nonprofit sector spanning over 25 years, Charinus has served as the chief operating officer of the Dan Marino Foundation and has provided leadership roles with the YMCA and the Davie-Cooper City Chamber of Commerce/Educational Foundation.
Charinus holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology/anthropology from Florida International University and recently graduated from the FBI Citizens Academy.
She lives in Tamarac with her spouse and adult son.
Brief said, “We are certain that Charinus’ expertise and forward-thinking mind will assist in elevating our Chamber and surrounding community.”
