Coral Springs Charter’s football team not only picked up their third straight victory but had the chance to win their homecoming game on Thursday.
The Panthers defeated Pompano Beach High School 27-18 Thursday night. With the win, CSC improves to 3-1 this year.
“Overcoming adversity has been a big key for us this first half of the season,” said Head Coach Chris Haire. “We continue to go into the storm and take problems head-on and find solutions.”
Keon Taylor, Dominic Dunn, and Collin Teschy all scored touchdowns, while Michael Snow picked off two passes.
Still, Coach Haire is hoping to see his team improve through the second half of the season.
“Right now, we have a major focus on blocking, tackling, and conditioning and look to improve our technique and fundamentals for each position,” Coach Haire said.
Up next, CSC will play the resumption of their September 10 game against American Heritage High School on Monday, October 4, before traveling to Northeast High School on Thursday, October 7 for their game at 7 p.m.
