After Coral Springs Charter girls soccer lost back-to-back games, they rebounded, moving their record to 7-2-1.
The Panthers defeated Coral Springs High School 4-1 Tuesday Night after Anna Mariano scored a pair of goals. Then, in their win against Calvary Christian Academy on Friday, Sabrina Basso and Sophie Ribeiro scored one each before the team tallied eight goals.
“It’s not about the times you fall, but how well you get back up,” said Head Coach Kristin Grassi. “So we regrouped, refocused, and worked hard this week to get back on track. We want to finish strong next week before heading into the holiday break.”
Kelsey Dunne recorded the shutout in net. Kayla Kreisler recorded a hat trick and had seven points to lead the Panthers, while Basso scored twice and added a helper.Â
Brooke Catronio and Emily Kahler found the net once and picked up an assist as CSC won seven of their first nine games for the third straight year.Â
Next, the Panthers will play three games before the holiday break with a matchup against Northeast High School on Monday, December 13. Somerset Prep December 12, before closing 2021 against West Boca Raton High School on December 1.
