Update: The Coral Springs Police Department posted to social media at 12:33 a.m. on Wednesday morning that the suspect had been captured and taken into custody.
The Coral Springs Police Department is investigating reports of a fatal shooting incident near the 9200 Block of Ramblewood Drive late Tuesday evening.
Coral Springs Talk has contacted CSPD for additional details surrounding the shooting, but preliminary reports from the department via social media indicate officers are searching for a possible homicide suspect that fled the scene.
As the investigation unfolds, CSPD is urging residents to avoid the area.
