The Coral Springs Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee hosted its annual International Dinner Dance on August 24, drawing over 300 guests to the Fort Lauderdale Marriott Coral Springs Hotel & Convention Center for an evening dedicated to Spain’s vibrant culture.
This year’s event showcased an array of Spanish-inspired experiences, from the colorful décor and traditional tapas to a paella station and Spanish-style entertainment.
A DJ provided music and Spanish-style dancers and singers, with Rebeca Reyna Flamenco holding several performances.
Lydia Cutz, the community relations coordinator, emphasized the event’s significance in promoting cultural understanding and diversity.
“Our goal is always that the International Dinner Dance will provide a meaningful opportunity for residents and city supporters to come together and celebrate culture,” Cutz said. “Our event this year accomplished that goal and further contributed to our vision to be the premier community in which to live, work, and raise a family.”
Cutz encouraged community members to participate in future cultural events by joining the Multi-Cultural Advisory Committee.
”We encourage anyone who is interested in getting involved in the planning and execution of Coral Springs cultural events, like the International Dinner Dance, to join our committee,” she added.
