Nordstrom Rack is officially set to open its newest location in Coral Springs, bringing designer apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty, and home goods at discounts of up to 70 percent off.
The off-price retail division of Nordstrom quietly held a soft opening on Tuesday, giving invited guests a first look at the 31,000-square-foot location that once housed Bed Bath & Beyond. Shoppers browsed through merchandise carefully stocked one item at a time by employees who transformed the vacant space into a brand-new store.
The store is located at 4631 N. University Drive in Pine Ridge Square, on the northeast corner of University Drive and Wiles Road.

Store manager Crissie Phillips, who has worked for Nordstrom for 25 years and previously managed the Sawgrass Mills location, welcomed early shoppers. The first customer through the door was Natalie Atik of Pembroke Pines. “My mother told me to come today,” she said, adding that she was shopping for shoes and bags.
The public grand opening will take place Thursday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m. To mark the occasion, Nordstrom Rack will have a spin to win, giveaways, $1,000 gift card winner, and other special surprises for attendees.
