{Coral Springs Improvement District}
The Coral Springs Improvement District (CSID) has approved Arbor Tree and Land (ATL) to oversee the removal of trees along the district’s canals as part of its ongoing windstorm mitigation project.
The project is designed to reduce the risk of flooding by preventing trees from falling into canals and obstructing water flow, which could lead to property damage and infrastructure issues. In total, approximately 150 trees have been identified for removal.
Over the next several weeks, residents may notice workers on barges in the canals carrying out the tree removal. The majority of the work will be performed from the waterway. No activity will take place on private property.
ATL has already completed work on Culvert E-10 and is expected to finish Culvert E-13 this week. The remaining culverts will be addressed in the following order: E-18, E-17, W-4, W-5, E-24, E-5, and finally W-14. While this is the planned sequence, schedules are subject to change.
The Windstorm Mitigation Project will only take place in the 33071 zip code.
