Somerset Academy Riverside Charter School is gearing up to host their 4th Annual Fall Festival.
The fall celebration will take place on Saturday, October 11, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the school field at 2251 Riverside Drive.
Kayla Cerquozzi, Activities Director & PD Liaison at Somerset Academy Riverside Charter School, tells Coral Springs Talk this year’s festival promises to be the biggest yet, with several new additions to keep the event fresh and exciting.
“One of the highlights this year is our expanded food truck lineup, featuring local favorites like Tulum Taco, Steve’s Woodfire Pizza, 4 Corners Café, Kona Ice, ChurroBar, and Giardino Gourmet Salads,” Cerquozzi said.
In addition to the food trucks, attendees can expect classic festival activities, carnival-style games, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
Cerquozzi noted that the festival is the product of months of careful preparation.
“Planning for the Fall Festival begins each summer, as we work behind the scenes to bring the event to life,” she said. “From booking food trucks and securing sponsors to organizing volunteers and coordinating countless other details, it’s truly a team effort.”
Over the years, the festival has even attracted the participation of local leaders, including city commissioners and the Mayor of Coral Springs. For Cerquozzi and the Somerset community, the festival is about more than just entertainment.

“The Fall Festival is a time for students and families to come together, relax, and simply enjoy themselves outside of the usual school routine. It’s all about kids being kids – laughing, playing, and making memories with their friends.”
More than just entertainment, she tells Coral Springs Talk that the event also plays a vital role in supporting the school.
“The Fall Festival is our largest fundraiser of the year, and the support we receive from families and local partners makes a lasting impact on our school,” Cerquozzi said.
According to organizers, the proceeds from the event are distributed directly to students through various programs and incentives, including FAST Testing rewards, graduation celebrations, special lunches, and i-Ready rewards.
Pre-sale entry cost into this year’s Fall Festival is available to students for $5 per person. Attraction tickets are $1 each, with each attraction requiring two to five tickets to access.
General admission tickets will be available at the door.
