The League of Women Voters of Broward County is partnering with the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce to give voters a closer look at the candidates seeking seats on the Coral Springs City Commission.
The organizations will host three virtual candidate forums Thursday, Oct. 1, featuring candidates in the mayoral race and commission Seats 3 and 4.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. with a separate forum for the two candidates running for mayor, who are running for Seat 1. The mayoral forum is scheduled to run until 7:25 p.m.
A forum featuring the five candidates seeking Seat 3 will follow from 7:25 to 8:20 p.m.
The final forum will feature the three candidates running for Seat 4 and is scheduled from 8:20 to 8:55 p.m.
Each segment will immediately follow the previous forum, and candidates within each race will be asked the same questions.
The forums will be live-streamed on the League of Women Voters of Broward County and Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce Facebook pages. Videos will also be posted on the League of Women Voters of Broward County’s YouTube channel.
