Two of Coral Springs’ fast-casual restaurants are teaming up to raise funds for women fighting breast and gynecological cancers.
Bolay Fresh Bold Kitchen and Talkin’ Tacos have partnered with BRCAStrong, a national nonprofit organization founded in South Florida that provides resources, advocacy, and emotional support to women navigating cancer diagnoses.
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, starting October 1, diners will have the opportunity to “eat with purpose” while contributing directly to BRCAStrong’s mission.
At Bolay, guests can order the limited-edition BRCAStrong Bol, designed by Executive Chef Robert Pug in collaboration with BRCAStrong founder Tracy Milgram. The dish is crafted to nourish the body before and after mastectomy procedures. It features black rice, kale salad, roasted sweet potatoes, pickled red onions, cilantro, feta, and roasted coho salmon seasoned with anti-inflammatory sumac, finished with a ginger turmeric sauce for wellness and healing.
Twenty percent of proceeds from every purchase of the bowl at Bolay’s Florida locations will be donated to BRCAStrong.
Meanwhile, at Talkin’ Tacos restaurants across the country, customers can sip for a cause.
Fifteen percent of all sales from the chain’s popular Strawberry Lemonade will benefit the nonprofit.
Bolay is located at 9204 Wiles Rd, and Talkin’ Tacos is at 2866 N University Drive in Coral Springs.
Founded in 2015, BRCAStrong provides care packages, post-mastectomy garments, and critical resources to women nationwide, offering support from “previvors” to survivors.
