Ever dreamed of shaping the future, one student at a time? Now there’s a great opportunity.
On Saturday, July 22, 2023, Broward County Public Schools will host a major Back-to-School Career Fair hoping to fill 1,300 job openings.
Held at Western High School at 1200 S.W. 136th Ave in Davie, available jobs span a diverse array of positions, including teachers, school counselors, speech-language pathologists, classroom/teacher assistants, bus drivers, security staff, custodians, food service workers, and others.
The career fair allows attendees to meet face-to-face with school principals and District staff. This is a unique chance to explore the many career paths available at BCPS.
Potential candidates are encouraged to arrive early, as the recruitment drive will run from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and qualified candidates could walk away with an immediate job offer.
Job-seekers interested in attending should register online at bcpscareers.com/summerfair-2023. They are also advised to bring multiple copies of their resumes, prepare a list of questions to ask during the fair, and be ready to discuss their career path interests.
Apart from providing an opportunity to be part of BCPS, attendees can learn about the excellent benefits the District offers. These include 100% paid medical insurance for employees, paid time off, free professional development, and access to Florida Retirement System plans. BCPS aims to not only fill vacancies but also build a committed and professional team ready to contribute to the vibrant learning community.
