Casa Décor + More, a home décor store known for its innovative designs and the result of the shared dream of three local mothers, has announced its impending closure.
This decision comes in light of recent economic challenges and the demands of balancing full-time jobs with the responsibilities of running a successful storefront.
Launched as a “passion project,” Casa Décor + More quickly carved a niche in the community. However, managing a bustling business while juggling other full-time commitments and family responsibilities has become increasingly challenging for the trio.
“The state of the economy and our extremely demanding full-time jobs has hindered us from being able to physically put the time and love into the store,” co-owner Mary Villalobos said to Coral Springs Talk.
To bid farewell to its loyal customers, the store will organize liquidation sales leading up to its official closing date on Sunday, September 24. Shoppers are urged to check the store’s social media pages for updates on these sales.
For those looking to visit the store one last time, please note the updated limited business hours:
- Monday-Thursday: CLOSED
- Fridays: 5 pm-8 pm
- Saturdays: 10 am-5 pm
- Sundays: 11 am-2 pm
While the physical storefront is closing, the owners hint that this isn’t the end for Casa Décor + More. “The Casa Decor story isn’t ending; it’s to be continued…” Villalobos added, leaving the door open for potential future endeavors.
