Children are invited to the annual Safe Fit Summer event this Saturday hosted by Coral Square Mall.
The event will feature an interactive safety presentation by the Coral Springs Police Department. In addition, the officers will have fingerprinting for kids, and a table set up with information on community events, programs and more.
The Coral Springs Fire Department will also be at the event with Sparky’s Fire House, their fire safety trailer that gives children a chance to practice home safety fire drills in a fun and innovative way.
Attendees are also invited to create foam bead necklaces, decorate summer visors and color their own cool cups.
This free afternoon of fun is for their Kidgits club members, however, any child who is not a member can join by paying the $5 annual fee.
The will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2014 from 1-3 pm. To join the club, visit Simon Guest Services at Coral Square Mall or www.simonkidgitsclub.com.
