Fashion-forward students have made it abundantly clear this fall: it’s cool to wear second-hand clothes back to school.
Helping parents get a jumpstart on stocking up for the colder months, a massive children’s consignment sale promises up to 90% off retail store prices.
Just Between Friends (JBF), a renowned consignment sale event, is the go-to destination for families looking to ensure their children have everything they need for the upcoming seasons.
As trends show, the youth have echoed the sentiment of sustainable shopping. According to recent surveys, 62% of Gen Z and millennials prioritize recycled items over new purchases. Additionally, 50% of these young individuals contemplate an item’s potential resale value before acquiring it.
The global push for sustainable living, particularly in the fashion sector, isn’t just a fleeting trend. A report by Global Data predicts that by 2026, the U.S. secondhand market will skyrocket, with an estimated worth of $82 billion annually.
For those eager to get their hands on high-quality second-hand items, the JBF Coral Springs event will run from Thursday, October 12 to Sunday, October 15, at the Coral Springs Gymnasium at 2501 Coral Springs Drive.
Lauren Maring, the JBF franchise owner and a local mom, champions the cause of recycling children’s clothing.
“These JBF pop-up events present a dual opportunity for parents – they can earn by selling or save big by shopping. From maternity to teenage essentials, the offerings are vast, ensuring families are well-prepared for the chilly months ahead.”
With the heightened awareness about sustainability and cost-effectiveness, she wonders why anyone would want to fill our landfills and shell out full price when JBF offers equally stylish choices at a fraction of the cost.
“We’ve meticulously vetted our collection, from clothing and shoes to toys and bedding, ensuring only the best for our customers. It’s a win-win; families get to shop and save big.”
