The Coral Springs Center for the Arts presents the renowned comedian and creator Ilana Glazer live on stage.
Scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024, at 8 p.m., this show is expected to be a standout performance in the Center’s season lineup.
Ilana Glazer, best known for co-creating and starring in the hit series Broad City, brings her unique brand of humor to the Coral Springs stage. The event is part of her ongoing tour, Ilana Glazer Live, which has been gathering acclaim nationwide.
Ilana Glazer was born and raised in Long Island, New York, in a family that practiced Reform Judaism. Her Jewish background has had a significant impact on her comedy and cultural identity. Broad City’s content features Jewish humor and culture, which the two female protagonists use to navigate their everyday secular lives.
Ilana Glazer’s repertoire extends beyond television comedy. Her debut stand-up special, The Planet is Burning, is available on Amazon Prime. She has also made her mark in film, co-writing and starring in False Positive, produced by A24 and available on Hulu, and appearing in Rough Night and Apple TV+’s The Afterparty.
Additionally, she co-founded Generator Collective, a non-profit organization aiming to humanize policy through storytelling.
