Coral Glades offensive line coach DJ Fluker is returning to the NFL after signing with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Fluker, who wrapped his first year with Coral Glades this year, was a first-round draft pick in 2011 after winning three BCS National Championships with Alabama. He played in the NFL for seven years but has not appeared in a game since 2021.
However, since the high school football season ended, Fluker has been working out and has lost over 50 pounds since his last game.
Coral Glades Head Coach Rocco Casullo said it was very exciting for the Coral Glades football program to have someone of DJ’s caliber in our program.
“We are very fortunate. He is a tremendous teacher of the game. The team and staff were very excited when we found out that he was signed. We can’t wait to see him on NFL Sundays.”
