Over 50 students from Coral Glades High School's HOSA - Future Health Professionals chapter shone brightly at the recent regional competition held on February 10.
Dedicated students of HOSA, which stands for Health Occupations Students of America, now set their sights on the upcoming State competition, which will be held in Orlando from April 4-7, 2024.
Under the guidance of Alison B. Madej, a health science teacher and advisor to the team, students competed in various events, showcasing their understanding and passion for the healthcare field.
"As an advisor, I am so proud of my HOSA team for doing so well at the regional competition. As the health science teacher, I love watching these students grow their love for healthcare and have confidence that one day, they will be able to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in their desired fields of study," Madej told Coral Springs Talk.
