A dog was found dead with stab wounds at a Coral Springs residence Tuesday, authorities said.
Coral Springs Police said they responded to a report of a stabbing in the area of 5200 Northwest 58th Terrace on Tuesday morning. When officers arrived, they found the dog dead with multiple stab wounds, police said.
An adult male was also found with what appeared to be a self-inflicted stab wound to his neck, according to police. The man was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
There was no threat to the community, police said.
No additional information about the incident was made public.
