The Coral Glades softball team won their 12th game of the season after a walk-off hit in the bottom of the eighth inning against Spanish River Community High School.
In the home half of the eighth, the Jaguars recorded a walk-off hit from MacKenzie Wolfe, just days after a historical game with five RBI’s.
Earlier in Thursday’s game, Carmela Smith had an RBI to tie it at one. Isa Vega pitched a complete game, struck out nine, and allowed only four hits.
Up next, the Jaguars softball team will play in the District semifinals on Tuesday, April 27 at 6:30, against the winner of Piper and Coral Springs High School.
