This year’s EarthFest event will offer a unique opportunity to enjoy and celebrate nature.
This free event will offer an EarthFest Plant Distribution and feature nature exhibits, community garden information, and plant giveaways for Coral Springs residents only.
Commissioner Nancy Metayer said respecting and protecting our planet is one of her most significant priorities.
“Although this year’s events will look different than ones held in the past, our city is fortunate to continue its Earth-friendly celebration while engaging youth to help clean up their own city streets,” she said.
EarthFest is held on Saturday, April 24, 2021, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Additionally, the city will host a Keep Coral Springs Beautiful Clean-Up throughout the city starting at 9 a.m. Those who are interested in volunteering must be 14 years old or older. Volunteer hours are eligible for service hours credibility.
To volunteer, register online by visiting coralsprings.org/volunteer. Once registered, volunteers will receive via email their assigned location.
Due to COVID-19, all participants and attendees at both events are required to wear facial coverings.
EarthFest is held at Sportsplex (Tom Messenheimer Field – 2575 Sportsplex Drive).
