Chabad Jewish Center of Coral Springs will host a pre-Rosh Hashanah party for Jewish teens as part of the global CTeen youth program.
The festivities take place this Sunday, Sept. 15, at 5:30 p.m. at the center at 11325 W. Atlantic Boulevard.
The event, dubbed the “Orange and Blue Kickoff Party” as a nod to the youth program’s favored colors, will be “an unforgettable night packed with excitement, laughter, and memories you’ll never forget,” according to a written announcement promoting the event.
CTeen is the largest Jewish teen network in the world and aims to cultivate young leaders, promote self-discovery, and encourage giving to communities.
Also known as the ChabadTeen Network, the youth group has 804 chapters in 63 countries on six continents, according to Chabad.
According to the announcement, organizers will “have a delicious dairy dinner waiting” for teens at the party. The bash will feature an activity that promises to get participants’ clothes “messy” – in a fun way – so partygoers should dress accordingly, organizers said.
“This is your chance to hang out with friends, make new ones, and start the year off in the best way possible,” the announcement states.
Dinner at the party is free, but participants must RSVP here no later than today, Sept. 13, to attend.
Rosh Hashanah this year begins at sundown on Wednesday, Oct. 2, and ends at sundown on Friday, Oct. 4.
