For the third consecutive week, Coral Springs Charter’s girls’ cross country took home first place in their latest meet.
The Panthers competed against Cypress Bay, Cooper City, Nova, Coral Glades, and Piper High School Wednesday afternoon at Central Park in Fort Lauderdale.
Abby Foster finished the race in second place individually. She was followed by Mackenzie Maniscalco, Lynnae Varkala, and Katie Foster. Marissa Micioni also ran a strong race for the Panthers coming in 11th.
“I’m extremely proud of this team,” said Coach Kate Hearn. “We continue to get better weekly, and I think we will only improve as the season goes on.”
Up next, the Panthers will be running on Tuesday, October 5 at Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach.
