
Coral Springs Charter Football. {Summer Brownfield}

It took until the third game, but the Coral Springs Charter football team came away with their first win of the season on Friday Night.
The Panthers defeated Archbishop McCarthy High School to improve to 1-2 after falling by nine points in their first two games. CSC scored a pair of touchdowns in both the first and second half.
“I’m super proud of the guys and the hard work paid off led by Dominic Dunn and the offensive line,” said Head Coach Chris Haire. “It was a great team win.”

Dunn ran the ball 16 times for 117 yards with three touchdowns. Collin Teschky had a rushing score and caught three passes for 27 yards. He also had an interception in the game while quarterback Preston Griffin completed seven passes for 82 yards.

After winning five games a season ago, the Panthers will attempt to build off that with their next match on September 23 against Tradition Preparatory High School in Port St. Lucie at 7 p.m. The Pirates fell 49-8 in their first game of the season against American Heritage High School.
