The Coral Springs Charter girls’ cross-country team earned fourth place at the 2A region 4 Championship at South County Regional Park, Boca Raton, on November 14 and qualified for the state championship meet in Tallahassee on November 22.
Coach Brantley Barr is very proud of the team and the effort they have put in to earn a place in the state championship. He is pleased that everyone on the team is highly motivated, and most are running their best times.
“We knew we were fit, and we were running against some good teams. We ran a good race and now we must prepare to run at a higher level,” said Barr.
Top runners for the Panthers include Sydney McDougall, Alyson Thomas, Lily Richardson, and Cecilia Kozlowski.
