Coral Springs Charter girls volleyball continues their terrific start to the season, winning four of their first five matches.
The Panthers won their opening match against Westminster Academy on August 24. After dropping their next match, they won a thrilling five-set match against Western High School.
CSC won the first two sets but dropped the next two. In a deciding 15 point fifth set, the Panthers won 15-11 for their second win of the year on Tuesday. The next day, CSC dropped their opening set against Cypress Bay and then responded with wins in the next three sets to move to 3-1.
In their third match in three days, the Panthers beat St. John Paul Academy II 25-16, 25-23, 25-23 behind big performances from Alexander Bruno and Olivia Panico. This is the fifth straight season that CSC has won at least four of their first five matches.
Up next, it will be another busy week when CSC goes on the road to play Pompano Beach High School on Wednesday, September 8, and University School at Nova Southeastern the following day.
