Members of the Coral Springs Charter School soccer program are holding a book drive this week to help local children.
In partnership with the Coral Springs Police Department, both the varsity and JV soccer teams will be collecting youth appropriate books through Friday, December 8th, which will be donated to the Summer BreakSpot program
Summer BreakSpot is a federally funded program that allows communities to serve healthy meals to children and teens in low-income areas during the summer. To donate a book, bring it to Coral Springs Charter School’s front office. All books must be in excellent to new condition without any handwritten notations or inappropriate content.
There’s also a giveaway. All adult books will be given away free, maximum three, on Saturday, December 16th, in front of the Northwest Regional Library between 12 p.m. – 2 p.m. Come choose a book and support a worthy non-profit cause.
Coral Springs Charter School is located at 3205 N University Dr, Coral Springs, FL 33065. The Northwest Regional Library is at 3151 N University Drive, Coral Springs, FL 33065
