In only their second season playing high school flag football, Coral Springs Charter made quite the mark, winning a District Title and competing in Regionals for the first time.
The Panthers, seeded fifth, hosted Avon Park High School and played a tight game but ultimately fell 14-6. Ali Rodriguez scored the lone touchdown on the ground and finished with 100 rushing yards and 120 passing yards, while Brenna Mazanec added an interception. CSC closed the season with 13 wins—seven more than their inaugural campaign—highlighted by several standout individual performances.
Rodriguez finished with 2,786 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,256 yards and 12 scores. Mazanec, Eva Rodriguez, and Riley Guerrera each surpassed 600 receiving yards and combined for 19 touchdowns. Lexi Bartell added two receiving scores, while Kaylee Stewart and Juliette Beauregard each had one.
Defensively, Sarah Manigat led the team with 51 flags pulled, four more than Bartell. O’Meira Charlton ranked third with 38 flags and also contributed with 18 sacks, while Guerrera recorded nine interceptions. As a team, CSC totaled 30 interceptions, with Mazanec and Bartell each recording six.
