It is hard to believe we are already gearing up for another school year. The City of Coral Springs is excited to announce that 10 Coral Springs Schools received a grade of ‘A’ from the Department of Education for the 2021-2022 school year. To celebrate the upcoming school year, families are invited to join us for our inaugural Back to School Bash ice skating event at the Panthers Ice Den on Friday, August 12, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This free event is one of many interactive activities our Parks and Recreation Department hosts throughout the year to bring families together. Members of the Coral Springs Department of Budget and Strategy will provide an overview of the city’s budget process and answer resident questions during the Budget Academy held on August 29. There are two ways to attend, virtually from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. or in person at City Hall. The City of Coral Springs is excited to announce the launch of a new rental assistance program for residents whose annual rent increased exceeded more than 5% from April 2020 to the present day. The city will accept applications starting August 15. For more information, visit
