The Coral Springs Community Chest has officially opened its 2025 Nonprofit Grant Program, offering funding opportunities for nonprofit and educational organizations that provide vital services to Coral Springs residents.
Applications for the program opened on June 2 and will be accepted through August 29, 2025. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) organizations or education-based nonprofits delivering programs that directly impact the Coral Springs community.
Now in its 37th year, the Coral Springs Community Chest has distributed over $2 million in grants to local nonprofits addressing critical needs, including food insecurity, mental health services, education, housing assistance, youth development, senior care, and medical support.
“Each year, we are honored to partner with nonprofits whose work touches the lives of Coral Springs residents in powerful ways,” said Chairperson Janice Zaitz. “This grant program allows us to channel the City’s generosity directly into programs that make a difference.”
Grants are funded through donations from the City of Coral Springs, private contributors, and fundraising initiatives. The organization emphasizes that 100% of the money raised stays in Coral Springs to benefit residents.
“The premise of the Coral Springs Community Chest is that community resources should stay in Coral Springs to support community programs and our residents,” said Claudette Bruck, Nonprofit Grant Committee Coordinator. “These grants make a meaningful difference for our Coral Springs residents and have a lasting local impact.”
