We have continued providing data after our readers have requested it.

There is good news this week; the trend for new cases continues to take a downward turn. Since our last update from the Florida Department of Health just seven days ago, positive tested Covid-19 cases in Coral Springs were 3,133. Since then, that number has increased to 3,227, for a difference of only 94 positive tested cases – or 13 new cases a day.

On Aug 28, there were 615,806 positive cases in the State of Florida, and on September 4, there are 640,211 total cases, for an increase of 24,405

There have been 11,750 total deaths reported in the State. This is 793 more since August 28. In Broward County, there have been 1,12 total deaths.

The average age of a resident to contract COVID-19 in Broward County is 37-years-old. These figures were verified on September 4, 2020
