Coral Springs Police

Through our joint effort with the Coral Springs Police Department to share updates to residents, this is a summary of crimes that occurred in Coral Springs through April 21, 2020. Names of those not arrested have been redacted.

Coral Springs Police responded to a retail theft at 7-Eleven on April 20, where Jacob Taylor Chadwick, 19, of Coral Springs, fled in a 2002 Pontiac. Police found the vehicle and got behind it with lights and sirens, however, he didn’t stop for some time stating he didn’t realize the police were behind him and that his darkened tinted windows made it difficult to see.

Police discovered his driver’s license was suspended two times, and he was driving with an expired tag – however, he told police he did not know his license was suspended. Chadwick was taken into custody.

A 63-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance/ Theft From Auto at the 140th block of NW 97th Ter, Coral Springs, FL, between 09:30, 04/18/2020 and 15:22, 04/18/2020.

A 50-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance/ Theft From Auto at the 10700 block of W Sample Rd, Coral Springs, FL, between 00:25, 04/19/2020 and 00:25, 04/19/2020.

A 39-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance/ Theft From Auto at the 1300 block of NW 104th Dr, Coral Springs, FL, between 22:00, 04/18/2020 and 09:50, 04/19/2020.

A 31-year-old female was a victim of Burglary Conveyance/ Theft From Auto at the 5800 block of Riverside Dr, Coral Springs, FL, between 21:00, 04/19/2020 and 08:30, 04/20/2020.

A 26-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance/ Theft From Auto at the 3700 block of Turtle Run Blvd, Coral Springs, FL, between 03:00, 04/09/2020 and 09:00, 04/09/2020.

A 38-year-old female was a victim of Burglary Conveyance-non-forced Entry(nothing Stolen) at the 8600 block of NW 53rd Ct, Coral Springs, FL, between 18:00,
