The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between May 26 and June 1, 2025. Please note that the police have redacted the names of victims and addresses of most incidents.
Thefts and Burglaries
A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle on May 26 at 10528 W Sample Rd. Estimated loss: $1.
A shoplifting incident was reported at Walmart on May 26. Total loss: $53.
Carters at 9347 W Atlantic Blvd reported shoplifting on May 26. Total loss: $114.
Multiple felony retail thefts occurred across various retail locations, including one at 4 N State Road 7, with a reported loss of $1,934.
Macy’s at 9263 W Atlantic Blvd reported retail theft totaling $250 on May 29.
Target at 4400 N State Road 7 reported a theft on May 24, valued at $349.
A stolen vehicle was reported on May 30 at an undisclosed Coral Springs location.
A burglary conveyance with no property stolen was reported on May 29 and again on May 31 at separate Coral Springs addresses.
Fraud and Identity Theft
At least seven fraud reports were filed, including identity theft and fraudulent use of credit cards, with losses ranging from $143 to $7,500.
A forgery was reported at Paragon Theater on May 30.
Assaults and Domestic Incidents
Multiple domestic battery cases were reported, including two on May 28 and June 1.
An aggravated assault was reported on May 31.
Several battery cases were logged throughout the week.
Drugs and DUI
Police made multiple arrests related to narcotics, including possession of THC, heroin, and cocaine with intent to sell.
A DUI 3rd offense within 10 years was reported on June 1 at 8735 Ramblewood Dr.
Several other DUIs were reported, including second offenses.
Other Incidents
Several Baker Acts were issued during the week.
A child abuse case was reported on May 27.
There were multiple reports categorized as “Risk of Harm” and “Suspicious Incidents.”
Property damage and criminal mischief cases were reported throughout Coral Springs.
Arrests
Newton Bernard Sewell, 40, was arrested on May 26 for a capias arrest.
Kelvin Emmanuel Denis, 44, was arrested for domestic battery.
Matthew Clay Allison, 37, was arrested for shoplifting on May 27.
Javon Constantine Mcenough, 28, was arrested for possession of THC.
Xena Kay Ramirez, 28, was arrested for felony retail theft on May 27.
Ethan Logan Cadet, 18, was arrested for a capias warrant.
Kavaughn Nicholoi Stewart, 20, was arrested for first-degree retail theft at Macy’s.
Gene Anthony Gibson, 55, and Jose Dolores Torres, 67, were both arrested for DUI (2nd offense).
Carlos Mizahet Abudeye Guerra, 36, was arrested for DUI (3rd offense).
Yigal Moshe Bitton, 55, was arrested for grand theft over $10,000.
Michael Patrick Lewis, 49, was arrested for driving with a suspended license (3rd or subsequent offense).
Earold Shawn O’Brien, 45, was arrested for heroin possession.
Andrew George Segovia, 32, and Chasity Jean Jacobs, 46, were arrested for cocaine-related charges.
Kirshan Y. Williams, 32, was arrested for an open alcohol beverage ordinance violation.
