
RAD class by the Coral Springs Police Department {CSPD}
The Coral Springs Police Department is offering a free self-defense course for women through the nationally recognized Rape Aggression Defense (R.A.D.) program.
Designed specifically for women, the program teaches realistic self-defense tactics focused on awareness, risk reduction, and physical techniques. Open to women ages 13 and older, the course aims to empower participants with the skills and confidence to protect themselves.
Held over four consecutive evenings, each two-hour class builds upon the last. The final session includes a simulation exercise, giving attendees a chance to put their training into practice in a controlled environment.

Classes take place at Sartory Hall, located at 10150 NW 29th St. in Coral Springs. The program is open to all fitness levels, and participants under 18 must have parental consent.
There is a $25.00 fee per person. After completing all four classes, a refund will be issued. Otherwise, payment will be withheld. Checks must be received prior to the 1st class.
Space is limited, and participants must complete a release and waiver form prior to attending. Registration and more information are available at CoralSprings.gov.
The R.A.D. program is part of the city’s ongoing efforts to promote public safety and community engagement through education and training.
