{Forest Glen Middle School}
Forest Glen Middle School is giving students a chance to take their education beyond the classroom with the launch of its new Global Travel Program.
The program’s inaugural trip is scheduled for the end of May and beginning of June 2027 and will take students and their family members on a nine-day guided tour of England and France.
According to Principal Dr. Claire L. Norris, the itinerary includes one day in the Kent and Canterbury area, four days in London and four days in Paris, combining sightseeing with opportunities to experience European history, art and culture firsthand.
While in London, travelers will visit some of the city’s best-known landmarks, including the British Museum, Tower of London, Big Ben and Parliament.
The itinerary will also include a stop at King’s Cross Station, known to Harry Potter fans as the departure point for the Hogwarts Express in the popular book and film series.

The group will also spend time in Kent and Canterbury before traveling to France.
In Paris, students and their families will visit the Louvre Museum, where they will have the opportunity to see Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. The itinerary also includes the Palace of Versailles, photo opportunities at the Eiffel Tower and a dinner cruise along the Seine River.
The program is open to Forest Glen Middle School students and their family members.
