The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between July 6 and July 12, 2026. Please note that the police have redacted the names and addresses of victims in most incidents.
Incidents
Aggravated Battery (Domestic): A victim reported an aggravated domestic battery involving a pregnant victim on July 6.
Fraud: Multiple fraud cases were reported throughout the week, including losses of approximately $610, $3,000, and $9,000, along with several additional fraud investigations.
Grand Theft: Several grand thefts were reported, including thefts involving property valued at $1,099, $2,700, and $3,960.
Vehicle Theft: A vehicle was reported stolen on July 8.
Burglary from Vehicle: Two vehicles were burglarized during the week, with reported losses of approximately $395 and $560.
Shoplifting: Several retail thefts were reported at businesses across the city, with losses ranging from $36 to $507.
Domestic Battery: Police investigated multiple domestic battery incidents during the reporting period.
Domestic Disturbances: Officers responded to several domestic disturbance calls throughout the week.
Aggravated Assault: Two aggravated assault cases were reported, including one involving an investigation into incidents dating back to 2023 and 2024.
Elderly Abuse: Two investigations involving alleged elderly abuse were opened.
Stalking: A stalking complaint was reported on July 10.
Written Threats: Police investigated a report involving written threats.
Criminal Mischief: Two criminal mischief incidents involving property damage were reported.
Property Damage: A property damage complaint was investigated on July 12.
Animal Bite: An attempted animal bite incident was reported on July 9.
Narcotics: Officers investigated a narcotics violation and a cocaine possession case.
DUI: A driving under the influence incident was reported July 7.
Missing Persons: Police investigated two missing person cases and one missing endangered person case.
Trespassing: Officers investigated several trespassing complaints during the week.
Petit Theft: Multiple petit thefts were reported.
Baker Acts: Officers responded to numerous Baker Act calls throughout the reporting period.
Arrests
Marcus Daniel Smith-Hunte, 39, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery by strangulation.
Nathan Christopher Thomas, 27, was arrested on a charge of loitering or prowling.
Sandrama Permaul, 43, was arrested on a felony capias.
Mark Anthony Chase, 44, was arrested on a felony capias.
Daniel Joseph Krkuc, 35, was arrested on a charge of second-offense DUI.
Ray’ven Jennifer Davis-Jernigan, 25, was arrested on a charge of burglary with assault or battery.
Lawrence Emmanuel Cobbs, 25, was arrested on a capias.
Jessica Suarez, 37, was arrested on a misdemeanor capias.
Raymond Rey Rodriguez, 38, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
Michael Melic Grundy, 35, was arrested on a charge of depriving someone of access to 911.
Elliot Enoch Baumet, 23, was arrested on a misdemeanor capias.
August Guerrier, 51, was arrested on a charge of shoplifting/petit theft.
Michael A. Houston, 63, was arrested on a charge of domestic battery.
Jason Kirk Warren, 35, was arrested on a charge of trespassing after warning.
Jhan Carlos Gomez Cordoba, 20, was arrested on a charge of possession of cocaine.
Guronva James Davis, 29, was arrested on a felony capias.
