
Coral Springs Police Department {Aiden Palmer}
The Coral Springs Police Department reported numerous crimes across the city between April 14 and 20, 2025. Here are some of those incidents.
Property Crimes
Burglary: Several burglary incidents were reported, including forced entry at a business on W Sample Rd with a loss of $12,500 and a non-forced residential entry with an estimated $1,000 loss.
Theft: Numerous retail thefts occurred at locations including Walmart, Publix, Target, Home Depot, and BJ’s, with estimated losses ranging from $21 to over $3,800.
Vehicle-related incidents: Multiple cases of theft from vehicles, criminal mischief to vehicles, and stolen auto parts were reported.
Violent & Domestic Incidents
Battery & Domestic Violence: Reports included intentional bodily harm and domestic battery across several locations, including Forest Hills Blvd and Coral Ridge Dr.
Robbery: An armed robbery was reported on Westview Dr.
Assault: A simple assault and an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (domestic) were logged during this period.
Drug & Alcohol-Related Incidents
Narcotics Possession: Drug possession incidents, including cocaine and cannabis, were recorded near Riverside Dr and Coral Springs Dr.
Public Intoxication & Risk of Harm: Multiple calls involved subjects posing a risk to themselves or others, prompting welfare checks and involuntary mental health evaluations under the Baker Act.
Fraud & Identity Crimes
Credit Card Fraud & Other Scams: At least five fraud-related cases were reported, including one victim who lost $7,500.
Other Notable Incidents
False Imprisonment: Two individuals were arrested for unlawfully detaining victims against their will.
Extortion/Blackmail: Two separate extortion cases were reported.
Stalking: One suspect was arrested for repeated harassment and cyberstalking.
Animal Bites: Two incidents involved individuals being bitten by animals.
Found Property & Lost Property: Officers responded to several calls involving found and misplaced belongings.

Madeline Jane Marshall, 29 β Felony retail theft.
Sean Michael Reid, 38 β Domestic battery.
Shaphire Merolus, 42 β Domestic battery.
Marco Aurelio Afonso Godinho, 44 β False imprisonment.
Craig Rogers, 59 β Stalking/cyberstalking.
James Edward Capers, 43 β Violation of probation.
Omar Alonso Fernandez, 24 β Capias arrest.
Brent R. Jones, 48 β Trespassing after warning.
William Anthony Phillips, 44 β Petit theft (3rd offense).

Michael Travon Herbert, 37 β Burglary (dwelling).
