The Coral Springs High School boys and girls track and field team continues to have excellent seasons this year as they both had a chance to compete on March 31, on Senior Night against Piper High School and Coral Springs Charter.
The boys finished in first place, winning 11 events.
100 Meters: Garth Lewis
200 Meters: Dior Crooks
100 Hurdles: Jahvay Wilson
300 Hurdles: Jahvay Wilson
4 x 100 Relay: Jalen Moye, Zakai McKenzie, Joshua Rose, and Garth Lewis
4 x 400 Relay: Joshua Rose, Jalen Moye, Dior Crooks, and Garth Lewis
High Jump: Maxwell Servius
Pole Vault: Steven Thomas
Shot Put: Michael McFarlin
Discus: Michael McFarlin
The girls finished in second place, winning eight events.
110: Hurdles: Lavelle Francis
300: Hurdles: Lavelle Francis
4 x 100: Meters: Lavelle Francis, Nia Mackey, Hannah Bazan, and Bergyne Darang
4 x 400:Hannah Bazan, Julia Fendell, Leah Ramnarace, and Faith Cunningham
High Jump: Vanessa Alexandre
Vole Vault: Angelica Macarulay
Shot Put: Niesha Aldajuste
Discus: Niesha Aldajuste
Up next, both teams will compete in Districts at Boyd D. Anderson High School on Tuesday, April 13 at 4:30 p.m.
