
Privacy Glass Solutions {City of Coral Springs}
The City of Coral Springs celebrates the success and contributions of seven local businesses and organizations recognized during the 2025 Business Excellence Awards.
Created to spotlight outstanding achievements in the local business community, the awards reflect Coral Springs’ commitment to fostering innovation, economic vitality, and community spirit. Winners were selected for their service, impact, and leadership in the community.
“The Business Excellence Awards give us the opportunity to spotlight the incredible work being done by our local businesses,” said Kristi Bartlett, Director of Economic Development. “Each recipient has gone above and beyond, and they are a vital part of what makes Coral Springs such a special place.”
Large Business Award: Privacy Glass Solutions
Founded in 2005, Privacy Glass Solutions has grown from a two-person operation into an industry leader with 58 employees. The company specializes in privacy glass technology used in hospitals, schools, and commercial buildings, and continues to expand while staying rooted in Coral Springs.
Small Business Award: Plaster Carousel

Plaster Carousel.
Operating in the city since 1983, Plaster Carousel offers plaster craft painting experiences for all ages and has become a community staple. Known for supporting children with pediatric brain tumors, the business uses creativity to bring families together for lasting memories.
Heart of the Community Award: Atlantis Academy

Atlantis Academy.
With a mission to support students with learning differences, Atlantis Academy has provided individualized education and care since 1976. The school, part of Chancelight Inc., employs 25 people locally and over 1,300 nationwide, demonstrating a lasting commitment to Coral Springs families.
Legacy Award: Runyon’s

Runyon’s
Runyon’s, a family-owned restaurant founded in 1984, has long been a destination for locals seeking great food and warm hospitality. Owned by Kevin O’Connor and his wife, the restaurant has employed generations of residents and continues to thrive with 35 employees.
Commissioners Award: Springs Soccer Club

Coral Springs Soccer Club.
Founded in 2020, Springs Soccer Club offers programs for youth ages 5 to 19, helping players grow both on and off the field. Based out of Cypress Park, the club emphasizes sportsmanship, leadership, and personal development.
Company to Watch Award: Hitchcock Design Group

Hitchcock Design Group.
Since opening in April 2023, Hitchcock Design Group has already made a mark. The national landscape architecture firm collaborated with the city to revitalize Village Green Park, bringing a fresh perspective to public spaces and becoming a valuable new player in the business community.
Sustainability Award: The Cook and the Cork

Cook & The Cork.
This local favorite, founded in 2014 by Dena Lowell, is known for its creative cuisine and commitment to sustainable practices. With just 15 employees, the team, led by Chef Keith Blauschild, focuses on eco-conscious operations while delivering high-end dining with a personal touch.
