Coral Springs Middle School Excels in Cross Country and Soccer

The future is extremely bright in athletics, with Coral Springs Middle School impressing in cross country and soccer.
The cross country team had their girls win their Week 5 meet at Tradewinds Park after similar success earlier this year in the Northwest Area Schools XC Championship. Antonella Dominguez Villanueva placed second overall, while Addison Sahlin came in third. Teresa Alba also finished sixth, followed by Lauren Simbert, Samantha Degance, Brynnie Goodman, Zena Ford, Jodie Choquette, Arianna Sandoval, Isabel Hilmers, and Arianna Huriash.
The boys team came in third place, with Brayden Basso placing eighth and Joseph Scalia in ninth. Jaiden Ross finished in the top 14 running along with Blake Burden, Thomas Schedit, Aiden Coon, Colin Williams, Miguel Castro, Benjamin Huriash, Elijah Ladouceur and Timothy Priester,
The boys' soccer team finished second in their division and went on to compete in the playoffs before falling to Franklin Sunrise Middle School. The Stallions ended the season with only two losses, as Franklin Square, the Division 5 Champions, went on to face Deerfield Beach Middle School. The girls' soccer team finished second in their division and beat North Broward Academy in their opening playoff game. They were set to play Sunrise Middle School in their next playoff game on Monday, but it was postponed and will be rescheduled.
