The City of Coral Springs features The Princess Bride as they continue their Movie in the Park series.
Bring the family to the 1987 Rob Reiner directed film on Saturday, March 4, at 7 p.m. While home sick in bed, a young boy’s grandfather reads him a story called The Princess Bride about a fairytale adventure between a beautiful princess and the gallant hero who rescues her from an evil villain. It’s an enchanting classic the whole family will love.
Starring Mandy Patinkin, Robin Wright and Cary Elwes, this film is rated PG-13.
The event will take place at Betti Stradling Park located at 10301 Wiles Rd. Parking and admission is free. Blankets, lawn chairs and coolers are welcome, and refreshments will be available for purchase. The City asks that there are no glass containers, alcohol or pets brought inside the park.
