Luke Valentine, a resident of Coral Springs, is currently participating in the 25th season of Big Brother.
The 30-year-old Luke, originally from Weston, is aiming to secure the $750,000 grand prize. He relocated to Coral Springs in 2022 and works as a digital artist, taking on commissions from clients all over the world.
Before entering the Big Brother house, Luke worked on a comic called Splatterbrain and was hired starting in November to make a book into a movie. He graduated from Western High School in 2011 and studied at Florida State University.

His mother, Veronica, says he is super competitive and recalls their first learning about his artistic skills.
“We were at a restaurant when he was five, and he was eating chocolate pudding, and he drew the waitress’s face out of it,” Veronica said. “The waitress picked up the dish and said, ‘Dude, that’s me,’ and from there on, we bought him all the stuff, and I have never seen someone work so hard at a craft as him.”
Luke initially tried out for Survivor but got a call for Big Brother earlier this year. Despite being told he would be an alternate, Luke received his key from his brother Jake and started his 100-day journey. Luke is joined on Big Brother by four-time Survivor contestant Cirie Fields and her son Jared Fields.
“I am an air-head, it’s true, but it allows people to underestimate me,” Valentine said during episode one of Big Brother. “If a showmance [romance] happens, it happens. I’m open to it, but strategically, it’s not the best move. I know I’m going to win Big Brother because I have the hunger to win at all costs.”
Valentine can be seen on CBS on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights on CBS and the live feeds on Paramount Plus.
