
{Royal Palm Christian Church in Coral Springs}
The Rotary Club of Coral Springs will be partnering with the Royal Palm Christian Church to distribute frozen turkeys to needy families on Thursday, November 20, at 5:45 p.m. at 9600 Royal Palm Boulevard, Coral Springs.
“There are a lot of hurting families, and we want them to celebrate Thanksgiving with a turkey,” said Sal Golfo of the Rotary. “The church has a weekly food distribution, and we want to help them.”
Also, the Rotary is working to assemble a group of volunteers to pack 140,000 meals for Food for the Poor, which will be sent to Jamaica. It will take place in shifts on Friday, November 21, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and 12 p.m. to 2 p.m., at the Community Christian Church, 10001 West Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac.
