Coral Springs Shopping Plaza Evacuated During Gas Leak

Authorities on Wednesday night evacuated a Coral Springs shopping plaza due to a gas leak while Hazmat teams burned off the gas, authorities said.
According to the Coral Springs-Parkland Fire Department, the gas leak was active in the area of 7760 Wiles Road.
Northwest 45th Street was closed from Woodside Drive to Northwest 74th Avenue around 6 p.m. as emergency crews burned off the gas leak behind the shopping plaza, authorities said.
Authorities warned of minor traffic delays in the area.
