Teen Political Forum in 2025. {City of Coral Springs}
High school students across Coral Springs and neighboring communities will have the opportunity to engage directly with elected officials during the upcoming Teen Political Forum, a student-focused event designed to encourage civic participation and open dialogue.
Scheduled for Wednesday, April 29, 2026, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the forum will be held at the Coral Springs Center for the Arts, located at 2855 Coral Springs Drive. The event is free and open to high school students interested in discussing issues that impact their lives and communities.
Originally planned for April 16, the event was rescheduled in light of the recent passing of Coral Springs Vice Mayor Nancy Metayer, as the city continues to support the community during a period of mourning.
The Teen Political Forum is structured as an open mic-style discussion, allowing students to ask questions and engage in conversation with local, county, and state officials. Topics often include education, public safety, environmental concerns, and other issues important to young residents.
The annual event has become a cornerstone of youth civic engagement in Coral Springs, giving students a platform to voice their opinions, learn about government processes, and interact directly with decision-makers.
