The City of Coral Springs will host a Community Concert & Celebration on Saturday, Feb. 7, featuring live music, family-friendly activities, and the annual State of the City address in downtown Coral Springs.
The free event will take place from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. on the City Hall Grand Lawn at 9500 W. Sample Road. Festivities begin earlier at 5 p.m. with the State of the City address, during which the Coral Springs Commission will share updates on city initiatives and progress. Residents may attend in person or watch the address live on CityTV.
Following the address, the lawn will transform into an outdoor concert venue headlined by Absolute Queen, a nationally recognized Queen tribute band known for recreating the sound and spectacle of the legendary rock group’s early 1980s performances. The concert will open with a performance by School of Rock, featuring young local musicians.
“This is one of my favorite nights of the year,” said Scott Brook. “There is nothing better than being in the middle of our downtown, surrounded by neighbors, friends, and families, listening to great music under the stars.”
In addition to live entertainment, attendees can enjoy food trucks, arts and crafts, face painting, and a photo booth. The event is designed for all ages.
Admission and parking in the on-site City Hall garage are free. Food and beverages will be available for purchase from vendors.
