After much anticipation and overcoming numerous delays, Divieto Ristorante is set to celebrate the grand opening of its newest location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held by the Coral Springs Coconut Creek Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The event will be held on Monday, April 8, at 4:00 p.m. at the restaurant’s 2729 North University Drive location.
Divieto Ristorante, known for its unique blend of Italian cuisine with a classic American twist, will occupy the former site of Applebee’s, which closed its doors in 2021 due to challenges brought on by the pandemic.
Divieto’s grand opening has been coming for a long time but has been met with multiple delays due to construction and inspection issues.
Divieto proposed opening its fourth South Florida location in September 2021. The Coral Springs location will join Divieto’s Doral, Aventura, and Estero restaurants.
Known for its upscale 1920s-inspired dining experience, highlighted by a high-class atmosphere and quality menu options, such as its renowned Ruota di Parmigiano, signature 40-oz Tomahawk Steak, and dessert, Caramello al Latte.
The restaurant also features a full bar offering a wide selection of wines and signature and classic cocktails.
